15 Months - First Blood

Our 4th of July weekend was really fun. Dad had friday off, so we went to the pool in the afternoon, then Dad grilled up some really tasty cheeseburgers. But, of course, what would a holiday be without an (almost) ER story?

So, Mom was trying to get a 15 month picture of me with Horton on the 4th of July...a few minutes after this picture was taken, I lost my balance and pierced my forehead on the molding at the base of one of those columns you see in the background.

It didn't freak Mom & Dad out too much, but they didn't want it to scar, so we met my friend Dr. Stephanie at her office to get it fixed. Do you like my bandaid? I think it makes me look like a tough guy.

Thanks for the dermabond, Dr. Stephanie!

And finally we were off to Clinton to celebrate Independence Day. Later that evening, Mom finally got her picture. So, here it is...15 months old, with Horton!
